Hollow Glass Microspheres for Oil Well Drilling

1. Hollow glass beads made of borosilicate glass, are thin-walled micro-borosilicate glass microparticles which grain size is 10-250 microns, wall thickness 1-2 microns,filled with inert air and gas, they are widely used as a filler in paint, rubber, FPR, marble, exploitation of oil and gas and other materials. The unique surface of the hollow glass microspheres, light weight and low oil absorption rate, can significantly reduce the consumption of other components to lower cost and increase heat resistance. The chemically stable soda-lime-borosilicate glass composition of hollow glass beads provides excellent water resistance to create more stable emulsions. They are also non-combustible and nonporous, so they do not absorb resin. And their low alkalinity gives hollow glass microspheres compatibility with most resins, stable viscosity and long shelf life.
